| Description: | I was a long-time fan when he was booked into one of our local Indianapolis theaters. I positioned myself in the wings, close to the left end of the grand piano keyboard. If I moved slightly, I could see part of the audience, and l knew that to get a good photo of Garner at work, I would need to shoot my flash almost into their faces. Miraculously, no one complained after I got my shots, so I decided that discretion should then prevail. I took my next one as he sat on the edge of his dressing table in a back room. It was the Garner I had visualized-relaxed, friendly, and at peace with himself. But too soon he departed. The emptiness remains unfilled. |

Fiber base, double weight matte stock is used.
